That's not similar at all...

There is no detriment to increasing MP3 bitrate, even if you can't hear the difference (except taking up more HD space, of course), but in a sensor this small, 14 MP is likely going to be very very noisy in anything but brightly lit photos. The pictures look like 3D renders rather than actual device shots - the lines are way too perfect, too straight, too detailed, too focused and the whole image is too dust-free, blur-free, distortion-free and noise-free.

Its not the megapixels I'm concerned with - its a phone with a decent camera lens/sensor in it. The 8MP cameras they're shoving in the latest phones here are laughable.
