I have a 5800. Yes I am aware of Nokia Messenger, and it didn't ever work properly on my last Nokia device! Very buggy, and not feature-comparible to iPhone or anything else for that matter. Tried Profimail, and the regular "email" app that came with the E71.

Specifically I want to know before wasting my money on an unlocked Nokia again that it will have a solid email client. I travel around the world and use email constantly.

It is a completely reworked Email client in S^3. Works like a charm according to testers. Though, I have to say, I have never had any issues with the mail client on the E series devices I have had. Thanks for you info! I will only be using a gmail address, but not exchange support. The whole clunkiness/poor design of S60 turned me off big time. I have searched for screen shots or video of this new email client but can't find any.

lol why would you want to downgrade an OS?

What I really like is how good the N8 feels when you hold it - I have never seen such a feeling after the iPhone launched. Apple makes hardware which feels good to hold (admit it: most people like to fondle pretty, smooth, curvy things, both living and non-living ;-) ) and it seems in this case Nokia also followed the lesson. Now please launch the darn phone and dont screw up the software! Ofcourse going by my 1st impressions of their proto software, they are well on their way not to.

Better than O2 speed wise (afaik, I was on O2 for the iPhone 3G, switched since), same as O2 for coverage (or so).

Much better coverage than T-Mo in terms of getting a signal in a building.
