I wouldn't be surprised if Apple tweaked 3.2 to make apps like Netflix's run more efficiently.<br><br>I have no doubts that the Netflix app will be delivered to the iPhone when iPhone OS 4 hits the street. What if I'm bored and I don't have my laptop with me? I can watch a movie on my iPhone!  Or if I'm home and I want to enjoy a movie on the big screen well then I have my Samsung TV or Bluray player that can do that as well. If a demographic wants to watch videos on an iPad say, in bed before sleep or do not own a TV or it's pre-occupied by others or live in a dorm or whatever reason at all, they're entitled to. No one needs to "get real" but yourself in understanding different people like different things. I'm actually enjoying watching tv shows in bed on mine. It is fragementation of an OS.  Let's say I have a Verizon Droid and I really love the NFL Mobile app. I switch to a Sprint Droid cause I move across state and Sprint has better coverage. I loose the NFL app.  I loose all my Verizon proprietary stuff on a supposed open source and customizable phone. You're not even making an attempt at a valid argument.  Carrier-specific apps have nothing to do with whether the OS is open.  A carrier-specific app *can* run on Android just fine (no fragmentation or other issue prevents it from a technical standpoint), but the carrier makes a business decision to include an exclusive app just for their Android phones.  What is the problem with that?  It has nothing to do with Android.<br><br>Believe me that if AT&T had enough sway over Apple that they would be insisting on inclusion of AT&T apps in the iPhone too.
