It's really quite amazing what you can do if you have too much time. We used to play this at school like all day everyday and you learn tricks while doing it. Things that are just unreal if you see them the first time. Though we couldn't do the stuff like kicking the ball out of the arena, but the quick moves over the ground were not that big of a deal. Also depends on wich table you use whether or not you can do certain tricks.

There are quite large competitions in foosball, with official tables and balls and such.
