RISC is more efficient, it eats too much power and blah blah blah.<br><br>RISC was always better but they never did shit in the desktop era. Dont count out Intel. Moorestown is probably at least as efficient as the likes of Snapdragon and Tegra. Otherwise Intel would not even bother with it. ARM is a good cpu for mobile platforms because of battery life.  Intel simply is not there yet with battery power.<br><br>The advantage with x86 is that it simply is more powerful even at the same die size as ARM.  <br><br>Theres a plus and minus to both architectures.  <br><br>At this point I'd prefer to go with ARM on a mobile platform like a phone.<br><br>But anytime I need a REAL COMPUTER I prefer an x86 cpu; and one that is preferably from Intel.  <br><br>Intel needs to get its act together with their internal gpu's as well, ARM's ability to integrate a gpu core is a huge advantage.
