I don't mind hearing how the iPhone is/will be awesome, as I understand the draw. Evo, I'm with them too. This does not equal "awesome" IMHO. If this draws the top dollar for a phone I think there will be better alternatives offering more speed amongst other things. If this hits your niche and performs better at release then I wouldn't dispute the lust, but "awesome" deserves to be down-ranked more than "meh".

Things that can change this, better video recording (I've seen both the sd and HD video samples on youtube and compared to other phones) and faster UI. Both of these can happen, as there is still time, but I am surprised the attention Engadget has given it.

juanvaldez

Comments on Acer Stream preview at Computex 2010

@Physicsguy89
Don't get me wrong, this device looks really good on paper, but I tried to play with a few android phones, they aren't my thing... thus justifying my "meh"

MSM

Comments on Acer Stream preview at Computex 2010

@MSM Hopefully this phone will be the beginning of acer's streak to android devices. http://j.mp/first-androidphone-from-acer

merlisaponja

Comments on Acer Stream preview at Computex 2010

I'm glad many of these devices are coming out with processors and RAM that is sufficient enough to provide a smooth experience.
