I have a home studio and although most recordings on done via a DAW I do use stand-alone recording equipment as sort of "note taking." One device I still use is my old Zoom MRS-8 I bought back in '06. I have my H4 and use it for EVERYTHING, but this is cheap enough to have laying around for all types of recording purposes.<br><br>Perfect price point for college students who are allowed to record lectures.
