It turns out to be total bullshit. What's funny is that you should be looking at this the other way around. Imagine trying to do everything else WITHOUT touchscreen, like with some sad little trackball or touch pad, cant believe I had it back to front all this time. Got it after giving up my iPhone because it couldn't make/receive/hold a call. While not having a touchscreen has a few downsides, that phone is damn efficient at getting to my contacts, calendar, and for email/texting. Winmo without touchscreen is FAR better than winmo with AFAIC. Those people frequently type at 150+wpm and having to type less than 30wpm while literally having to watch their fingers when they type drives them mad.<br><br>Actually trackballs on android phones are awesome.  Remember adroid phones are all still touch.  What the pointer device lets you do is manipulate things that are too small for your fingers to get at like weblinks on a miniaturized browser screen, or selecting text. In the XDA forum it was mentioned the method was tried by people who had the necessary hardware but even they didn't manage to make it work.
