Oh, give it a rest. Remember when the G1 was going to beat the iPhone? Remember when it was the MyTouch? The Droid? The Nexus one? The Incredible? The EVO?

Exactly. Once they jailbreak, cool. I don't mind not having multitasking... because I will have it with jailbreak. But as before, I'll use the new Apple features over the jailbroken ones - if (and only if) the Apple one is better. And example of this could be when copy-paste came out. IOS just means internal Operating System, alot of other network manufacturers in fact run a modified version of Cisco IOS, and Cisco is ok with it.

It looks like they a licensing the name to apple (just read the link the dude above posted).
