I loved the hardware and feel, but the OS, stupid battery life and mediocre touch made it a truly abysmal experience. I envy Scandinavia for their communications infrastructure. <br>But Worldclear is right as well. The US might be a bit behind their due to the size of the country and the huge investment it brings along to develop a new technology. Reported battery life for the EVO is at LEAST 12-14 hours, similar to iPhone 3GS. I haven't seen anyone reporting horrible battery life in real world usage.
