I don't really understand this. As much as I hate to defend Apple, the new iPhone looks as good as anything out on the market today. I don't see it looking outdated for some time especially with the new form factor. Seems like a lot of people just want to hate on Apple because all the cool kids are doing it.

You can also ask, why do people often buy the same brand of car? Why do they exchange their previous models with the new one but not change the brand? again, because they like it...
I know for a fanboy who's not cheering for the apple corporation this thought might distant but it's just this simple...we (average consumers) buy stuff because we like them and not because we want to have the "best ones".
