I sometimes still use an NEC900/WinCE which has a similar form factor. The 900 is instant-on, which matters a lot to me. The P claims 2S from standby. The price with accessories and tax was a tad over $1490, and I added a 32GB Duo Pro for about $160. For my interests and needs, that's a reasonable price.]]></description><dc:creator><![CDATA[E. And I forgot to mention that the P having a pointing stick was a major factor: I have been a Thinkpad owner since they first came out, and am a die hard user of Trackpoint sticks and I dislike using touchpads. It's $70 more expensive than the top end iPad and offers a LOT more (double storage space, actual full OS, keyboard, SD slot, more powerful processor, more ram, better screen etc).
