I keep hearing all this talk of the Streak being released for AT&T and that would be horrible due to not only their bad network,but also how AT&T would alter the phone to keep Apple happy.

But at least the Streak isn't $700 dollars like I first thought it'd be priced.

You get the Travel Kit which contains the power supply unit and USB Cable for £24.

The power supply that comes with the travel kit only works via the cigarette lighter, so technically its not the same as the in home Power Supply Unit, therefore you can't compare them directly.

The price of the Travel Kit is not £24 but actually £55.

The Home AV Dock kit is basically charging £31 for the dock, when you consider that the dock + international travel kit = Home AV dock Kit. The International Travel Kit retails for £24.

The USB charge/Sync cable on its own is £24 and the Power Supply Unit (with regional plugs) is £32 on its own. The international Travel kit however has both of these together and only retails for £24. I have to agree with my fellow Streak owners yes it sure is one amazing device but the price of the USB to 30 pin cable is absurd and it's not 23 Euros it's £23!!!

I have no need for HDMI out so as much as i like the dock I'll be finding a different desk stand for mine. Same goes for the car kit as for that all i need is a PDAir case to fit the kit i already have which thankfully PDAir have confirmed is coming soon. Battery life is very good on the Streak but unsure just how much juice running Sat Nav would use so may well need another cable now hoping 3rd party ones appear and thanks sibyy I'll check out the travel kit as you pointed out that makes a lot more sense.

hopefully it's not wishful thinking and the update to 2.2 does come in September as fortunately it's coming direct from Dell OTA and not from the Network.
