Those are rendered shots that a company does for PR use before the actual product is completed. EVERY COMPANY does this. When teh real phone gets photographed, those are called "live pics".

As for fan art, this has way too much attention to detail to be one. Like the AO passes, for instance. May not be apparent to the layman, but to a trained eye, it is.
