BTW, it's also pushing 63% less pixels than, say iphone, so it'd better be fast at that lowly resolution, which imho, is one of N8's biggest failings.

640 x 360 on an AMOLED screen is fine for a 3.5" area as it gives a ppi well over 200. You know, quite a bit more dense than the 2009's 3GS's 163 ppi.

WVGA is for the MeeGo phones - N900 has WVGA (and incidentally the highest pixel density before God Jobs came with his "Retina Display" gimmick).

The N8 processor also does a lot more than any iPhone/iPad processor - full multi-tasking not some limited suspend/resume stuff. Plus the N8 GPU got benchmarked and is about 4-5 times faster than its nearest rival. Hardware was never Nokia's problem it was always software and poor user interface design. Ya it's cool that you can pair with a BT keyboard but not practical, you should be able to get what you need done with the built in keyboard.

They've never left, it's just his is the first phone from them that really has the potential to appeal to the same crowd as the iPhone. Nokia has always been brilliant and years ahead of their time with so many features. The only thing they have not done well to this point is a capacitive touch screen phone. Dunno, I tried writing my name in Chinese on my friend's iPhone and it wasn't really bad... in fact, without fingernails, I don't think I could write Chinese very easily on my 5800. Unless of course, you mean that people in China use the stylus...
