You put in an Bios password for extra boot-up security along with HDD Bios. I understand what you are saying and if they are not powerful enough for what you need then they are not for you. However I am running Win7 home premium with aero enabled and it still runs lightroom2 and photoshop cs4 adequately. It also runs visual studio 2008 fine too.
