I wish a big manufacturer would come out with a nice enclosed reclined leaning trike.

The Piaggio MP3 could be slightly modified to be perfect for example.

The problem BMW had though were the stupid politicians. When you have a cage, you don't want to be thrown as you'll hit the bikes cage. So just like a car, its perfectly safe to use a seatbelt to prevent that (the cage protects in a fall). Unfortunately, law makers required them to use a helmet. Well, helmets and regular seatbelts don't do well together, since it increases the head's mass excessively (body won't move but head wants to). Thats why racers wear neck braces.

They said one of the selling points of hybrids for example was that hybrids cars like the Prius have a unique shape and badges everywhere that scream "I'm eco-friendly, bitch!".
