Never said it wasn't successful, it is very successful, just saying that it shouldn't be argued, which it is a LOT, that the iphone or ipad are good products because they sell a lot.

I have had way to many laptops, currently have 2 windows based and 1 macbook pro. Don't get me wrong, I like my mac, of the 3 its the one I use for surfing the net and killing time, but that thing gets freakishly hot. Way hotter then my windows based laptops, one of which has superior hardware. Just saying if you can burn yourself on a laptop is that really superior? I do realize windows based laptops get hot as well, but that varies by company, apple only makes these few laptops it seems like they could do a better job with that. Windows PCs have the same or better hardware for less, that's the advantage einstein, not to mention a superior selection of software. And apparently "more and more people are realizing this" because they aren't buying Macs. Apple's Mac growth is flat at less than 5% global marketshare as of Q1 2010.
