(2) Full multi-tasking

Apple's multi-tasking is neither full nor multi-tasking despite how Topolsky's been gushing about it :-) If Apple brings full multi-tasking to their existing iOS, they are going to see massive performance loss in their UI and from Apple's perspective that is a strict no-no (as it should be but that doesnt make iOS any more capable or less stunted).

Linux is where all the big guys like Apple and Microsoft get a lot of their ideas from. It's been able to do a 3D OS for about 6 years now.
