I suggest:

-making the UI smooth by upping the specs on the device, jittery scrolling makes a device look bad
-Make it fully compatible with upcoming WP7 Apps and services
-Have Social updates (Facebook and the like) real time instead of every 15 minutes
-You dumbed down the UI a little too much by using the spot for everything, back off a little bit!
-Just let it be a smartphone instead of an inbetween phone! Microsoft needs to pull a Sony here and admit the Kin's were a marketing experiment gone wrong, like the PSP Go, and consumers clearly weren't as stupid with their hard earned dough as Microsoft marketing thought they were.
