The iPhone 4: it blends
Another Apple product launch, another episode of Will it Blend? No cheating this time as far as we can tell, but the production values have certainly gone through the roof for the inevitable iPhone 4 edition and yes, just like everything else they've put in a blender, it blends. See for yourself after the break.

Sweet, it blends like a pro.
@Kiron
Omg, instead of blending that phone, you could have given it to me.
@Kiron But he's holding it wrong?
@NinjaMonkey
I have one question.
Is the blender really good?
My blender can't even blend ice, on it.
@Revolutionary
If Someone still finding the way to hold it, he should blend their iPhone 4.
He's blending it the wrong way.
@Kiron
ahhhh, nothing like an episode of will it blend to make my gadgets appreciate me more :-)
@Kiron
steve jobs:"if your phone doesn't hang up by holding it.this is your alternative"
@Revolutionary it actually makes one hell of an iSmoothie
@Revolutionary
This is a big promotional stunt for Blendtec blenders. They can (and do) blend just about anything.
@Kiron
Face time dust! Don't breathe this!
@Kiron
really cool reverse engineering?
@NinjaMonkey
I think the blender will render the antenna usefuless
@Kiron
LMFAO
This is the best frikkin article i have ever seen!
@NinjaMonkey It gets better reception when you separate the bottom left band from the rest of the sides via blender...
@Revolutionary Starbucks likes them. That's what they have for making their drinks.
@Kiron
lol
Smile @ 2:33 was priceless
@Revolutionary
I bought a Total Blender from Blendtec a while back and it has been absolutely awesome. I use my blender once a day for a pretty hardcore post-workout shake, and I went through 4 conventional blenders in a little over 2 years. I've had my Blendtec for a solid year now and it's still perfect, easy to clean too. The only downside is the price, but I have a feeling it will pay for itself in a few years.
@Kiron
+1 for the Howard Dean scream. For some reason, I still enjoy that.
@Kiron I really like that guy. Smart marketing, and funny on TV. Shame he'll be dead in five years from inhaling all that Lithium-Polymer smoke and ground up iPhone dust.
@Kiron I wish it didn't have all the cuts in the video. They should post an unedited version. If they really can blend the hardened stainless steel I'll get one, but its in one picture and just gone after the cut. I wonder if they just stopped the blender and took it out.
Damn, that was pretty freakin' funny!!!
"DON'T TASE ME BRO!!!"
I was very surprised how long it lasted in there. When they showed the clips of the 3GS (I think that's what it was) that sucker broke into pieces pretty quick.
@Plazmic Flame
Nope, it was the iPhone 4 the entire time. If you watch carefully you can follow the Apple logo on the back and see the difference.
@NHAnimator its Wilhelm scream. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilhelm_scream
@metaesapuet
Oh man, that is funny. "He's blending it the wrong way." classic.
I can't believe that Apple responded that way about the iPhone 4 reception. That's horrible customer support.
@Revolutionary
That's because you're putting the ice on it. You have to put it inside of it to blend it. Otherwise it will just melt.
Took quite a battering there!
@Revolutionary You need an iBlend
@glow
Your reception will be just as good blended as non-blended for the iphone 4. Zing!
@Plazmic Flame
I believe so too but some of that is because the phone got in a position that did not allow it to fall.
but the amount of hits it got... the 3GS smashed the screen on first and lost shape in third. the 4 got smashed only on the fifth or sixth hit.
@a dumb cat
It Blends!!!!!!!
@Kiron
i kinda want to go over there... pick up a crow bar or a baseball bat from a dumpster somewhere, and "blend" their marketing office and anything else around their factory.
can't ####### stand people destroying things when other's can't even dream about affording those things or anything else for that matter.
nothing ticks me off more. testing for durability for a review that is useful. everything else, like these guys, or slow motion sniper shot at these things...
I'm not going to pull the children starving in africa routine, but you catch my drift.
Really ticked off. im easy going, optimistic. but this is just ridiculous.
a slap in the face with a piece of meat and then asking to lick the bottom of their shoes. same crap.
these people need to be slapped back into reality, kidnapped, and dropped in the middle of a third world country without a cell phone or anything on them.
seriously.
but oh well.. not like i'd ever do that.
all i know is, when i can afford to do shit like this, i'd just give the money away to people in need. I'm broke, and still I put change into donation jars, and to people who ask (not to druggies)
@hastings
OK CEO of Blendtec, I'll bear that in mind.
@Kiron
Wow. This really makes me hate america at the moment. Some people dont even have phones and we're throwing brand new ones away.
@Revolutionary
I just bought the Blend Tech blender at Costco. Yeah its good. Ice - no problem. Cell phones too apparently.
@Captain Obvious
Thanks you Captain Obvious
@Stratus41298
Right, this is all America's fault. You know what? Americans invented the cell phone.
@NinjaMonkey You guys do realize that Steve Jobs never said "you're holding it wrong," right? That was Joshua Topolski.
@Kiron Well at least the iBlend is revolutionary!
@Kiron Look at all that Black Magic, so magical.
@Raiki
well they did notinvent cell phones.
The first cell phonesdepends on differenttechnologies from all over the world. But most of them from Sweden.
And sweden is actually where the fist cellular phone call was made.
Without sweden, there would be no cell phones.Motorola might have been the first producer, but they did not invent the technology they used in their device!
@Kiron
"iBlend"
EXACTLY!!!! I wanna see how Steve Jobs will blend :D
@scoobydooby You are saying it the wrong way: its Facetime dust, which is waaaay worse.
@Kiron It's surprising that the batteries don't explode, li-poly batteries explode even if you just poke them with a nail.
I wonder if they took the battery out.
@Kiron

some guy smashes his iphone 4
@Revolutionary Personally after using both this and the Vitamix i think the Vitamix is better
He's holding it wrong! :(
@ChazClout
He should of put a bumper on it
@ChazClout He needs the iHandle!

I totally thought it was an Android device in the briefcase.
