That said, I think there is a place for these things, and hopefully all would be easily formated to remove any bloatware, otherwise you're just locking down something way too much that doesn't need locking.

@pika, I wonder if the simple format protection actually is a good design for n00bs, seeing as how maybe they will format and lose that software that perhaps they did appreciate.
