I don't own it yet, but having to find this mini IR is sort of silly.  Its going to take me just as long to find the TV remote.  With their full solution. The iphone sends IP based commands over wifi to a remote sender sitting in your entertainment cabinet. It is somewhat buggy and  the database of components was very limited.  Most of my stuff was not on their list.  I ended up having to program each button.  (What a PAIN!)  I finally gave up.<br><br>I now use a Logitech Harmony One remote. It sounds as if you will be able to to scan through the tv guide in the software choose a show and it should change the channel in one tap.
