aCircuit Board live wallpaper is aMazing (video)
Like teardowns? Ever worn a loose resistor in your pierced 80s earhole just to show the world how geek-punk you really are? Man, have we got the Android Live Wallpaper for you. aCircuit Board is a ¥99 (a bit more than a US buck) animated wallpaper available on the Android Market. Moving fan; binary clock; GPS, WiFi, and Bluetooth status lights; a pulsating Android bot; and active circuit paths depending upon where you touch the PCB. Of course, it's all configurable too, via the options menu. Buy hey, don't take our word for it, see it in action after the break.

That's awesome!
@Kromatik
+1 I may just pony up the cash for this one!
@Kromatik Yeah, i like this one even more than the mario wallpaper.
@Kromatik
we need to petition for a playable pacman wallpaper now!
@DefPoet
Yes, I would also pay for a playable Pacman live wallpaper.
@Kromatik Think I'm still hooked on the mario live wall. weeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. dum de dum dum-dum-de-dum. 1up.
@blindguymcsqueezy
exactly ... i would definitely go for a live pacman!
btw ...this wall is super cool ... just bought it.
@fpad77
doesnt it slow down your phone ??? i installed it on my evo ...and the screen swipes started lagging a bit so aint using it much.
@njsrikar Nah. With nexus1 2.2 Runs smooth as butter.
@njsrikar
Right right. See how that just happened. You didn't like it so you didn't use it. BUT. BUT. BUT. Hold up wait for this. But, other users do like it and it's a great option for them. Wow, both people are happy. Amazing.
I wish Apple would open up a bit more.
@Kromatik sometimes you think you're a nerd, then other people just blow you out of the water. then you realize you're nothing.
@fpad77 While I'm still hooked on the zombie Metal Slug wallpaper... :D
@mikeriosisawhoredotcom I love that one too!! Quite infuriating when one gets away....
@pizzaman
perfect nerd wallpaper...
@Dig Deep i agree. i have an iphone 4 and i think this would be kick ass to have on an iphone. i re-created the pac-man wallpaper that engadget covered, and i have to say i think mine is better even though its not a huge difference between the other one, and i thought it would be awesome if it was a live wallpaper.
@Kromatik
I'm using it right now and there's even a special feature to increase battery li.....
@Kromatik Wow you'd really have to be a nerdy loser geek to have this on your phone. Puh-leez.
@Kromatik This is one of those otherwise completely pointless features that prompts the gotta-have-it response.
@slickpaki says, as he browses a BLOG ABOUT GADGETS.
@njsrikar
"Buy hey, don't take our word for it, "
engadget sending subliminal messages /:)
@Kromatik yes it is awesome.
That's pretty cool.
@SCB But why do those guys still complain about Android battery use?
@NewBie
I have no idea, because my EVO loves me long time.
@NewBie I have the Milestone (the GSM Droid) but I live in the US so I am using it on AT&T, and thus it has no 3G connectivity. My goodness does the battery last a long time. I am on day 2 without charging it and still it isn't yelling at me. Running the device purely on 2G and wifi networks saves a shit-ton of battery.
Android does !!!!
@Makali and there ain't NO app that does that for the other "phone"!
@lnm4444 I don't care
yeah, its called
iDont Phone
@tadghostal Lol. reminded me of http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FL7yD-0pqZg
@fpad77
i'm thinking that was kinda the whole point...
@tadghostal
LOL
@mrqs sarcasm fail :(
@Makali
Guys, get over it. I have a Hero and it's amazing but you don't need to make fun of the iPhone in every post.
I think it's better on dim mode, and it's also better without that outdated Sense UI lower bar...
@TareG I think i missed it, but what's outdated about that bar?
@TareG
big ass phone button = best thing about it
i shouldn't have to look for a small icon to bring up a dialer!
@pizzaman
It hasn't changed in 13 months, and looks a lot worse than Eclair or Froyo's Apps/Home button and dots combo.
@DefPoet
Right, but Froyo now has a dedicated phone icon.
Seriously, everyone with any Sense has Launcher Pro running on his Android. And don't get me started on the "+" sign.
@pizzaman
I mean those skins were justified before 2.1..... Look at how better the Samsung Galaxy S looks with Launcher Pro:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujg2cpzZPBM
@TareG
you missed my point froyo has a SMALL ass icon
also the + sign is very handy and alot quicker than press and hold to add a folder/widget/app
@TareG
not to mention the Sense text select which beats the crap out of anything stock or user added
@TareG
LauncherPro is awesome, great app.
@TareG - I actually love the sense UI, but to each his own of course.
@DefPoet I would actually prefer inherent features (holding down to get to a sub-menu, for example) than having to touch more buttons to do it. But then again, I'm a webOS guy . . .
International users in so many countries can't use, unfortunate fact of Android. In any case, I'm of the opinion most wallpapers should be free anyways. This is cool, and maybe even worth a buck, but do me a favor and give it away :).
@juanvaldez
no problem google is your friend :D
google's os does not show the app But google search does
just be sure to donate the price of said app to the dev
@juanvaldez
not to mention users stuck on pre-éclair
@DefPoet Googled -> Looked at two sites, both redirect to Android Marketplace which doesn't help. I have found finding paid apps and games a bit frustrating when knowing I want something by name, so now I try to stick to 3rd party app stores and download what seems to be highest rated or worth taking a flyer on.
@juanvaldez
i was talking about illecit means actually thne donating to the dev
torrents mediafire megaupload is ur friend
