Assuming the GPS has perfect accuracy and precision (I know, not reality, but go with me here), wouldn't it always only take a person 4 tries to find the correct location (3 to set triangulation points and 1 at the right spot)? Where a cache goes onto something that moves around and a continuous GPS location is streamed to the net.  You need to keep up with the cache to find it.  So say a bus, train, boat, taxi, roller coaster. At the time I didn't know what it was so I took the crap and threw it away.  A friend later told me what it probably was and I found the geocache listing online.
