Facts: year 1999/2000 IBM PC division (now lenovo) build the first All in one flat screen: the Netvista X40/X41 was a revolution that puts apple Imac g3 to shame; but IBM has no interest in the consumer market so they abandon the AIO project, 2 year later apple follow and build the iMac G4 and later on the iMac G5 which design inspired all imac intel to this date. Design , innovation and product quality wise I'll give a edge to lenovo over apple. Its true, but less so than on smartphones that get touched far more per square inch. Washing your hands first helps.

More important is the relationship between body and touchscreen.

Personally, I prefer them integrated into an adjustable angle desk, or just angled slightly and situated a bit low compared to the user in the kitchen.
