WoW Moviewatch: Imma Tree

Work Warning: There's a bit of suggestive language, clothing and dancing, so your boss may not be pleased by this video.

Imma Tree
is a music video parody of Imma Be by the American group Black Eyed Peas. The original song is a blend of two wildly different beats and flows; it moves from an interesting successor of My Humps into a thriving, throbbing dance floor epic. Imma Tree struggles to maintain some of that energy, but doesn't quite manage to see the effort all the way through.

For Lilydruid's first work, Imma Tree shows a lot of promise for the future. I can completely see where she was going with the video, and the concept could be a strong one. I think song choice was probably a factor here; Imma Be relies on certain DJ tricks and filters. Simply singing the lyrics leaves the music feeling hollow, which unfortunately plagued Lilydruid's effort.

I respect her effort in blending live action with the game's natural animation, as this is a style we don't see very often. I think a lot of people will enjoy the video, and I hope Lilydruid continues growing as an artist.
