I own an iPod Touch 64 gig, am extremely happy with it, and wouldn't trade it for any other music player. Know why? Because it's not trying to be anything more than it claims to be. But when people buy a flawed product by the millions, tell people (you've been doing this recently) that everything will be fixed in a software update, and passive aggressively insult people, I tend to get a little angry. Go check put Consumer Reports. THEY gave the iPhone 4 and 3 GS #1 and 2 ranking. Every other consumer survey as well does the same.

You're missing the point. For many people the iPhone 4 is better than what they had before - all things considered. It may well be flawed, but I have the phone and I am not suffering any downside. I am sure I am not the only one.

No devise is for everyone. If it doesn't fit your needs don't buy it. The iPhone 4 is a flawed product in the sane way the iPad is. If you love it great. If you hate it, buy something else.

In any case, CR still rates the 3GS right behind the iPhone 4 in overall ranking in their smartphone ratings. So if you like the apps, the 3GS is an option.

If you want Android, go get it. It just doesn't make sense to equate the iPhone antenna issue to WMD in Iraq or whatever... or to presume that anyone who bought the iPhone 4 doesn't care about making phone calls or whatever you're trying to prove.
