I've been using Firefox for a long time now because IE sucks. I will admit that IE9 is a great new beginning for IE, but that's about it (for now, at least). IE is NOT fast. On the same computer with the same 15 Mbps connection, it takes at least 15 seconds LONGER to download/render/display the SAME page in IE than it does in Firefox 3.6.6 (which does it in about 3 seconds). And don't even get me started on standards compliance. IE7 gets a 13/100 and 8 gets a 20? At least Firefox 3.6.6 gets a 94. And, as for IE Mobile, I love my ZuneHD a hell of a lot more than I ever loved my iPods, but IE Mobile is a very slow, anemic browser. On the same network as my PC, it takes 30 seconds longer to load the same page. And it's not that fast with mobile pages, either. My V9x often loads mobile pages much faster than my Zune. Try telling me IE is fast one more time, "because it's not google." (Yeah, you gave yourself away with the sub-pixel positioning technology comment that you used with your last two usernames.) Yes, sub-pixel positioning technology is pretty cool, but it doesn't make up for the weak rendering engine.

Phoenix

Comments on

@That guy 2

yes opera mini is a dumb browser for a smartphone and smartbrowser for a dumb phone............whereas safari is smart browser for a smart phone

mundada

Comments on

@MicrosoftOwns
"btw ie8 is faster than any other browser.
