No need to get defensive, lest I take you down with logic like the rest of the fanboys.

"Most people only add people they personally care about."

No. I friend people who I have met and want to get in contact with. They are not necessarily "friends" in the traditional sense. I like having control over who shows up in my list, even if it's more filtering than choosing. I don't like seeing every little update from everyone I've ever contacted. I also don't like the idea that anyone's pictures can end up in the picture app. If I want to, I'll go to their profile and look at their pictures. lol

Secondly, 3rd party multitasking is essential for my phone needs, as I'm constantly using Pandora and like switching back and forth between apps. If it is assured to be included in the next update, that's great. However, I would like an official statement from Microsoft. Especially since half the features already exist in 6.5 so it'd be bizarre if they didn't make it into 7. Bing maps already has navigation now so they're probably just working on making it a bit slicker for 7. Similarly, server side e-mail search already exists in 6.5, though it's somewhat questionable how well it currently works-maybe that's why it's been temporarily left out while they get it ironed out to a windows phone 7 level?
I think most of the missing features are probably being left out while they get it up to the level of polish everything else is at.

tekdemon
