At least verizon acknowledges this issue which will put pressure to moto to do some adjustment or fixes.

Again, please do a review for the Samsung Captivate/Vibrant. It has a lot of issues. Samsung is not doing anything about it. I was hoping that if you did a review and post something like this, it will put pressure to them to at least respond or do something. Please please please. It has been 3 days since it was released, just wondering when will the review happen.

I don't want to buy it without a decent review. If you're going to do it, please do a review with the GPS/Compass, Death-grip like issues (signal drops).

Now I will say this and leave it alone... I think all iPhone 4 got the issue but it depends on the user and where they live... I own a iPhone 4 and love it... But I can produce the signal issue if I put my finger on the spot and put lil preassure there. So I know it's there but does not bother me because I live in a area where AT&T signals are very good and have always put a case on my phone, didn't matter what phone it is I have always put a case on it. Therefore the signal issue is not there for me and is why I don't hate the iPhone and I am glad there is cuz I get a free case out of the deal while I use cases on it anyway. So does apple need to fix this in the next version.. I am typing on a third gen iPod Touch right now running iOS4 assclown. Not to mention my best friend is taking his iPhone 4 back after standing in line for 11 hours in Phoenix outside an Apple store to get it. He dropped a call on me three times on me the other day and 3 times while on the phone with his vet about his sick dog. He is switching back to his 3G because it more reliably makes calls and his wife is a paralegal who has been out of town for a month on trial so he needs reliable communication with her. He owns an iPad, MacBook pro, apple TV, and Mac mini also by the way. It's called a DESIGN FLAW. Do you have to test EVERY BIT OF INSULATION made of asbestos in order to determine whether or not they cause cancer? No. You say: "This insulation is made of asbestos. Asbestos causes cancer. This insulation causes cancer."

The iPhone has a flaw that when you bridge the gap, the antennae detune. You can see a similar effect on old rabbit ears if you try to hold them. It messes with the signal, and is why most modern phones (if not all) have antennae on the INSIDE.
