The Droid X is very fast. But all that UI animation and movement where things appear from all directions is very distracting to say the least. <br><br>Plus 2 major problems with Android so far are it's lack of capability as a gaming platform. I can bet the iPad or even iPhone will blow this thing away and the lack of a decent media player. Crappy flash performance can't make up for the lack of integration with a store like iTunes, or apps like Hulu and Netflix. Not just that, but the media player interface just isn't as elegant as the iPod.<br><br>Android devices are good for one thing only and that is as a web browser. If you want a web browser, then this is a great product. Although, the way the Safari browser fits content on the iPad is awesome. <br><br>So speed isn't everything if the UI isn't up to mark and the apps are not as well implemented.<br><br>I can see the odd ball techie buy this. I know there are some AT&T compatible Nexus Ones out there, but I don't think you can get your hands on one anymore. I ended up buying an iPhone 4, and I'm pretty happy with it. Even a device as sleek as the iPhone 4 gets bulky with its mandatory case; when I saw my buddy's in his case, I couldn't believe how close in size it was to my naked Evo (which can actually be used naked).
