If you've never used a Fujifilm camera with a Super CCD sensor, you've never experienced how good a point and shoot can really be. O stupid camera companies if they insist on muting the sound why cant they put an option in the menu for Us to choose it we want the audio muting or live with the zooming sound.

Tiny flash, low res, limited optics, limited low light, limited options, slow operation, amongst a slew of other shortcomings. Yes, a cameraphone will do in a pinch when you don't have any other option, but it won't ever be as good as a dedicated P&S (at least not in the foreseeable future). It's more than enough to print, and looks great on any screen. The thing is that I only really use a real camera about once a year for family vacations, so having a pretty good one in my pocket at all times sorta makes sense.
