T-Mobile is GSM, and even if they aren't a huge network they have a solid 30million suscriber base and any more iPhones Apple can sell are worth it. They're also doing great things with their "4G" offerings.<br><br>Besides, GSM to GSM makes a lot more sense than GSM to CDMA. And as far as the "What? T-Mobile is a budget network!" comments go...iPhones are available for $99. It's not about status, it's about reaching as many customers as possible.<br><br>I like it. CDMA will not stand in the way.  Verizon is nowhere near close to using LTE for voice.  That is several years out. So that's like another canada. Let's assume t-mobile gets the same percentage of it's customers buy the iphone as at&t did. that's another 5 million devices sold over a few years. Considering apple makes about 420 dollars in profits on each iphone sold, thats another 2 billion for apple. <br><br>(the % of t-mobile customers will be less than at&t's since they have more "careful-with-money" type spenders, but the amount of iphone owners is growing significantly each year, so I decided that they would equal the same in my quick guesstimate. All other numbers are from wiki, and various articles on the net, + quick mental math that may have been flawed. Period."<br><br>Using your example (skipping quality part, which has nothing to do with success/profit)....<br>Honda for 2010 is showing a 27% profit increase reaching $800M for the year.  Jaguar is hoping for 2010 to be the first year since they were sold by Ford that they won't show a loss. I DON'T like Android, and I got tired of waiting around for Windows Mobile 7.  Maybe in a couple years I'll make the jump to Windows Mobile 8.  I'm a lefty and the so called Antenna problems have been a non-issue for me.  Blown way out of proportion.  I do have a SKIN on my phone.  So in a way it's covered, but it's not any larger in size, and is custom looking. The iPhones sold overseas are unlocked and quad band so the engineering has been done. In fact, my son uses an iPhone on T-Mo (bought in unlocked in Hong Kong). There are no ads for it anywhere on their site, and the only way to find it is buried on the last page of the android phones. This is a REALLY dumb move by T-mo... the Vibrant is by far their best phone on offer. That is why new companies are still choosing it over other technologies, Canada's Public Mobile, for example. In Europe it is actively being deployed in rural areas in Scandinavia, eastern Europe and Russia.
