They need to start making phones with 5MP and up, and upgrade their internal hardwares and screen sizes. It provides a reason for BB users not to jump ship, and for people upset with iPhone or Android, for whatever reason, to have another platform to legitimately consider.<br><br>I have a Droid right now but am willing to give a Storm 3 with BB OS 6 a shot.<br><br>I don't get this "it's been done before!" mentality. Android & iPhone & webOS do a lot of the same things. Windows Phone 7 barely does anything.<br><br>OS 6 is in a good spot. RIM is not the phone for you. hell it isn't even the phone for me. I use android. but at the same time RIM is the phone for older generations and American business. and American business buys a lot of phones. I've had an iPhone 3G,3GS, Moto Milestone & HTC Hero.<br><br>I'll tell you this, the 1 year I've had iPhones and the Androids were the most boring months of my life. RIM should rest on their laurels. Just like the American car business and every other company who had monstrous leads but refused to change.<br><br>I had a Blackberry for the last 7 years.  I stuck it out through the bullshit color screens, lack of media player, lack of camera, them forcing me to drop the jog wheel, them forcing me to drop the track ball and on to the track pad....all because of their enterprise support and solutions.<br><br>Other phones have caught up where RIM was once dominant.  It is no longer  OK for them not to innovate.  They are no longer the only game in town. <br><br>Guess what.  I JUMPED SHIP!  A month ago. I'm tired of thin phones. They're extremely uncomfortable to be completely honest. This is coming from someone who uses nothing but keyboard slide out phones. Tried using a slim phone and the ergonomics were extremely uncomfortable. The core elements are packaged up in regular builds that get sent to carriers for testing and then they decide to push it out in updates or give the greenlight on new hardware releases.  It's not exactly a consistent process.  From the time RIM officially released 5.0 to the time Verizon released it for the Tour it had been over 6 months and I had gone through more than 4 leaked builds, and then I was back to leaks a week later because the official release was broken. I love touch screen interfaces, but a lot of time I wish i could have a full keyboard, especially the Bold keyboard (my brother has a 9650 or something, and it's a dream to type on). Because I don't know if i can expect to wait 6 days, 6 weeks, or 6 months until RIM actually says something, I'm really deciding between the Captivate or the iPhone 4 right now. So it basically comes down to Android vs. iOS.  iOS has way more apps, ans snappier feel to it.  Android is a little more open but the overall feel of the UI just isn't there yet(the reason why every phone company just HAS to skin it).
