Well, eventually TVs will display 3D without the need of 3D glasses.

It would be heaps of fun trying to make the most of 3D in your holiday videos, and 3D videos and photos of your kids when they are young would be very powerful.

The only thing I object to with the current 3D tech is the price of the headsets. Back in the day you could get two cameras, slave them to a single controller and make 10MP(2x5) stereoscopic images. You just mounted them on a bar, so you could select the depth and bam...perfection. The slave unit would make both cameras shoot exactly the same.
