I love to dig on Apple as much as anyone but this is a great move on their part. Major props for stepping up and doing the right thing.

Financially this is a drop in the bucket. If they only would have handled the PR better (like admitting the mistake early on) then they would have come out of this smelling like roses.

Even Microsoft admit IE6 sucks... and advise people not to use it. because of security floors.

but most companies that have software dispatch systems still use IE6. I use chrome my self, and its soo nice and simple, without all the overhead.

That is the only problem I find with MS products, they are full of overheads.

I have no problem with Microsoft gaining hold on the market, hopefully side by side Microsoft & Android will squish Apple into an unhealthy GM fruit juice.. lol.

The fact that they are coming out and refunding the money without the buyer having to interact is a new thing to most consumers.
