This Acer is measured at maximum brightness first, then without powercable in a dark gay cave? What a nonsense. The best contrast in any LCD at the moment is 1:+/-2500 for the Samsung 2380M. That is with PVA, black-king. Only 1080 on 27" which is disappointing but at that price and with those connections I'm really tempted.
