Sony had the first one PRS-500 back in 2006 (I owned one).  And they had the second , the PRS-505 (had that one too).  Amazon then had the first kindle.  Sony then had the 700 (flop) and now the 300, 600 (have this now) and 900. I love reading books on it and all its features.
