I paid $259 for my K2i and was happy to do it.

This is the perfect time to release one at such a low price. Many people own Kindles, but the important part is that most people know somebody who does own one. Many people I know have expressed interest in getting one, and now that it's under $150, I expect sales are going to go nuts. Hell, I'm thinking about getting a second one. It's like in the early days when the iPod was super expensive. Everybody knew somebody who had one, but it wasn't until the $250 mini came out that it really reached the mass market.

Really, double? Are you buying them on the black market? If you order them from Amazon (crazy idea, I know) you'll get shipping to Australia for $US20 and get it at exactly the same price as everyone else. If you convert it into the Australian Peso, it costs about 10 to 15% more numerically + about $AUD25 shipping.

Although now that I think of it, I'm sure it will depend on how black the Graphite one is exactly. Maybe making it not a deep black was a smart choice if the font is actually a richer black so it seems even darker!
