I paid $259 for my K2i and was happy to do it. <br><br>This is the perfect time to release one at such a low price. Many people own Kindles, but the important part is that most people know somebody who does own one. Many people I know have expressed interest in getting one, and now that it's under $150, I expect sales are going to go nuts. Hell, I'm thinking about getting a second one. It's like in the early days when the iPod was super expensive. Everybody knew somebody who had one, but it wasn't until the $250 mini came out that it really reached the mass market. <br><br>Keep on trucking Amazon. Maybe making it not a deep black was a smart choice if the font is actually a richer black so it seems even darker! That it doesn't close like a normal book. I love that I never have to hold the book open with two hands or awkwardly with one hand. I can rest the device on a table and not have to hold it open with one hand and eat with my other. If I want to flip a page I just press a button with my pinky instead of using all of my fried-chicken-grease filled fingers.
