The Vibrant is a great phone, it's better than I expected and spending time with my content on the phone (as opposed to using the phone at Tmob) it really is one of the best smartphones you can buy. There are still some issues I have with it (lack of a user dictionary, lack of custom ringtone support in the contacts, no trackball, no LED notification) but all have been rectified (apps: User dictionary, ringo lite and the virtual arrow keys in Swype) except for one, the LED notification.

I'd say get the Vibrant. Be sure to load User Dictionary, Ringo Lite, Launcher Pro and PowerStrip on it and transfer Avatar from the SD card to the internal storage.
