Well the fact of the matter is it scales.

You will notice the high resolution on your phone because you hold it so close to your eyes. Do you think you would notice if your TV had the same pixel density and you sat across the room? The same thing applies with your laptop screen, you sit close to it so the pixel count is high. The last place I want a mirror is anywhere but the bathroom

Why would it be a good thing to have a 50 inch mirror in my living room with all the chairs facing it. That would be spooky at best, and mostly just annoying.
