While more battery life is always better, I never understood the need for 10hrs.

Do you guys really find yourselves working on your laptops away from a power source for more than 9hrs in a sitting? 1) HPs rarely sell for MSRP. Theres usually some "save 15% bla bla" thing going on.

2) You can't compare European and US prices. Europe has a lot of "free" services, and so absolutely everything costs a FORTUNE. Yes, millions upon millions were selling by accident. *rolleyes* My sister and mom both have excellent very powerful $1000+ 15" laptops through work, with powerful Core2Duos, 4GB ram, etc. Yet most of the time they are on the little pink Dell Mini 9s I got them.

Well, the netbook is tiny, fits in their purse, weighs very little, and w/ the SSD and very little integrated hardware to detect boots up even from a cold start in seconds.
