HDMI audio travels fine with my laptop connected, or my PlayStation 3 (although I just use my receiver anyway via Optical for my PS3). It's obscene that they are encrypting channels at all. Why they don't send all non premium channels in clear QAM, why the FCC doesn't require this as they had with 'cable ready' before the digital change over, is beyond me.<br><br>As it is I'm stuck paying for three HD boxes so i can record three channels at a time on my sage TV system.
