I was so excited about this, I ordered them the day they were announced. They got here this morning, and I've been trying to use one all day to give it a fair shake.

It doesn't write smoothly at all. It jumps and skips and basically feels like writing with sandy ink. I personally like the fact that it is still erasable assuming it doesn't smear at all due to water or just rubbing. I personally love pencils because I make so many mistakes but the smearing drives me nuts. I had a lot of notes sort of ruined because I got water on them (apparently the only part of my Swiss-gear backpack that is water proof is the bottom, the water just pooled in the thing when I went to class. Actually, this is good tech news. It is a follow-up, an actual test. Sure pen and paper technology isn't the geekfest of the smartphone drama, but it is new tech.
