EA will launch a single-player Dead Space 2
demo on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on Tuesday, December 21 (and Dec. 22 on the European PSN). The interactive snippet will reintroduce players to space engineer Isaac Clarke as he performs routine conduit maintenance, designs more efficient CO2 scrubbers and grudgingly does videophone tech support with his mom, who just installed Windows 14.
As Dead Space
executive producer Steve Papoutsis notes, "Releasing the demo five weeks before launch will not only reconnect players with our hero Isaac Clarke, but will also give them the opportunity to experience firsthand various jaw-dropping scenarios. It's gonna be awesome."
