Konami announces venues for E3 press conference 'viewing parties'
Konami is totally, deadly serious about hosting viewing parties around the globe for its E3 2011 press conference, in addition to a live web feed. Today it announced specific venues in San Francisco, Toronto, Mexico City, Los Angeles and São Paulo for the festivities, along with some sweepstakes to win a chance to attend.
There'll presumably be booze on hand at these locations to help wash away the disappointment when you realize that, no, there's still no news on Zone of the Enders 3. Full details on the locations, times and contest can be found past the break. (Don't hold us to the booze thing.)

KONAMI ANNOUNCES 'PRE-E3 SHOW 2011' VENUES FOR FIRST ANNUAL GLOBAL
LIVE SCREENING EVENT
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. – May 18th, 2011 – Konami Digital Entertainment,
Inc. today announced the venue picks for the company's first-annual
global Pre-E3 Show 2011. For the first time, KONAMI will bring fans,
gaming enthusiasts and journalists together via an internationally
coordinated online screening event. The live events taking place June
2nd will be set against a backdrop of an eclectic mix of legendary and
trendy spots located in five cities across the globe including Los
Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, São Paulo and Mexico City. Register

Offering a quintessentially Hollywood vibe, the brand new Commissary
at Sony Pictures Studio will be the site for the Los Angeles viewing
event. Housed inside a Zen-like compound and offering a taste of
fusion flair, San Francisco's Shrine Room at Temple Nightclub was
selected for its unique space. The spot reserved in Toronto is the
Real Sports Bar & Grill, known for its slew of big screen TV's.
Each venue in the five cities were chosen for its own chic style and
will be a spot for guests to kick-back and enjoy the show. The
locations for the Pre-E3 Show will take place at the following places
and at the times* listed below:
• Los Angeles – Sony Pictures Studio at 4:00 p.m.
• San Francisco –Temple Nightclub at 4:00 p.m.
• Toronto – Real Sports Bar & Grill at 7:00 p.m.
• São Paulo – Espaço Pinheiros at 8:00 p.m.
• Mexico City – El Imperial at 6:00 p.m.

The program for the global screening event will include the release of

Additionally, the KONAMI Pre-E3 show will be simulcast exclusively on
several major online sites and gaming broadcast outlets around the
world. KONAMI will also promote and stream footage from the
festivities on KONAMI.com.
