WRUP: E3 reflections
E3 2011 has been over for a mere week. We've had a little time to recover and think back to our games of the show, with our selections certainly eclectic this year.
What's everyone playing?
Alexander Sliwinski (@XanderSliwinski): Will be playing inFamous 2 and Dead Nation ... 'cause my PS3 has to be used for games sometime. Also: Trenched.
Ben Gilbert (@BigBossBgilbert): Gonna try my best to hop back into Dead Space 2 and L.A. Noire, but I make no promises. I've also been told that a large chunk of my weekend will be spent on a bus known as "Bieber" headed for Pennsylvania. This worries me greatly.
Christopher Grant (@ChrisGrant): With E3 behind me, it's time to return to Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood ... but this copy of Duke Nukem Forever is so appealing. I know I shouldn't waste my time (I still haven't picked up L.A. Noire!) but when I think about my entire adult life from 18 on being inside that game's development time, I feel like I have to play it.
David Hinkle (@DaveHinkle): Now that I've wrapped up the story mode in Mortal Kombat, I can focus on finishing Duke Nukem Forever and hopefully getting back into L.A. Noire.
Griffin McElroy (@griffinmcelroy): I'll be helping my fellow Trenched marines plow through wave after waves of illuminated monsters.
JC Fletcher (@jcfletcher): For SOME reason, I'm kind of feeling like taking a break from video games for a little while. So naturally I'm just going to play those four free Welcome Back PS3 and PSP games, Art Style Pictobits and browse some XBLA stuff.
Justin McElroy (@JustinMcElroy): [Vacationing]
Ludwig Kietzmann (@LudwigK): [Traveling]
Mike Schramm (@MikeSchramm): I'm at the Nerdtacular fan gathering in Salt Lake City this weekend, so hopefully I've gathered a few nerds to play board or card games together. Barring that, I'm trying to finish Dragon Quest 9 on the plane and in between parties.
Randy Nelson (@DangerPenguin): I'm going to be fighting the good, manly fight in the Trenches, hopefully with other manly men (and womanly women).
Richard Mitchell (@SenseiRAM) Finding myself surprisingly enjoying Duke Nukem Forever, so there will be that. Beyond that, I hope to go watch Super 8 and maybe work on the backlog of L.A. Noire, Clash of Heroes, AC Brotherhood and The Witcher.
Steven Wong: Participating in deep cutting edge therapy with Alice: Madness Returns.
