Gather three parties to watch the new Phantasy Star Online 2 trailer

The alpha test for Phantasy Star Online 2 will begin in August -- but before you get too excited, we should tell you that the participants for the Japan-only test have already been chosen. Non-alpha players will get a chance to try it out at Tokyo Game Show this year, after what we're guessing will be one of the longest lines at the show.

Even if you won't benefit from either of those opportunities, you can see the new PC game right here, in this new trailer. It pretty much hits all the PSO nostalgia notes, with some nice additions like 12-player areas (three four-player parties playing together), some kind of third-person shooter-style shooting controls, and, yes, jumping.
