Ryu will have his hadouken in Tekken X Street Fighter

"Obviously, the Street Fighter characters will have to have their fireballs. Ryu without a fireball just wouldn't be ... right," Tekken game director Katsuhiro Harada told PlayStation Blog at EVO 2011 last weekend. "Obviously we'll need it."

While Tekken X Street Fighter development is still in the earliest stages, the confirmation that characters will still be able to toss projectiles is curious. The only thing we've seen of the game so far has been a render of Ryu (above).

Harada doesn't know exactly how projectiles will make their way into the game yet, but it doesn't stop him from hypothesizing on how fireballs will be implemented.
